Preparing documents for a South Korean tourist visa application
Tourists who have traveled to the US, Europe, Australia, Canada, or Japan:
Photocopy of ID card (CMTND)
Photocopy of employment contract, appointment decision (if any), salary decision (if any), social insurance book (if retired)
Leave approval from employer
1 photo (3.5cm x 4.5cm) with white background, photocopy of house ownership certificate (if available)
Tourists who have not traveled to many countries:
Photocopy of ID card (CMTND)
Photocopy of employment contract, appointment decision (if any), salary decision (if any), social insurance book (if retired)
Photocopy of house ownership certificate or property transfer document
Bank savings book with a minimum balance equivalent to $5000 USD deposited for three months, or car ownership document
Leave approval from employer
Photocopy of household registration book + 1 photo (3.5cm x 4.5cm) with white background
In the case of young travelers who have not traveled much and cannot prove their finances, they can be sponsored by their parents' finances. Additional documents from parents:
Photocopy of household registration book
Copy of birth certificate of the visa applicant
Photocopy of parents' house ownership certificate or property transfer document
Photocopy of parents' employment contract, appointment decision (if any), salary decision (if any), social insurance book (if retired)
Parents' bank savings book with a minimum balance equivalent to $5000 USD deposited for three months
