On November 27, Air Busan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Sancheong County, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea. This collaboration aims to promote tourism in the region and increase the number of passengers using Air Busan's services. The airline also provides special fares for Vietnamese people living in Sancheong County to visit their homeland.
Air Busan is a low-cost carrier focusing on flights to and from Busan. Busan is the largest port city and the economic, cultural, and educational center of southeastern Korea. With a population of about 3.5 million, Busan is the second-largest city in South Korea, after the capital Seoul. In recent years, tours to Busan have become increasingly popular thanks to the peaceful beauty of the city parks and the beaches known as "the paradise of Korean beaches."
Sancheong County, the hometown of Coach Park Hang Seo, is located next to Busan and is a favorite destination for more and more Vietnamese people when they come to South Korea. This is due to the friendship between the two countries and the respect for the beloved coach of the Vietnamese national football team.
Air Busan hopes this collaboration will attract more Vietnamese tourists to visit Coach Park Hang Seo's hometown. The airline's representative also said they would add more tourism products to give Vietnamese people the opportunity to visit Sancheong County.
